Judgmental people grab on to trouble by meddling in matters that are not their business in the first place. Judgmentalism and an unforgiving spirit ride on the backs of two different dispositions. The first concerns things we observe in others, and the latter stands upon self-righteous imaginations.
Confusion always follows when we set standards for others that we ourselves cannot meet. Judging others is injurious to our own souls. "And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?" (Romans 2:3).
